Babies with congenital heart problems often have feeding problems due to heart failure and cyanosis (blueness) |
We are Simon and Sarah Woodfield, at the time of writing (September 2002) we were 38 and 33 respectively. We have 2 sons Stephen aged 10 and Scott aged 9. We live in the small village of Rogiet in South Wales (UK).
Simon is a self employed computer consultant and Sarah is a housewife.
In her spare time Sarah enjoys organising things and is on several committees in various roles. With the aid of a few local ladies, she set up the Rogiet Supporters Group who have staged Summer carnivals and bonfire nights for the last couple of years, as well as all the fund raising events to pay for them.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys fiddling with computers which is very sad as that is his job!, he also has a remote controlled helicopter as well as the remains of the last one! He also seems to spend a lot of time doing the physical part of Sarah's events.
Stephen and Scott both go to Undy Primary school which is a couple of miles down the road, they both enjoy playing computer games. Scott goes to Tae Kwon Do lessons once a week and plays the Clarinet. Stephen enjoys most sports and plays the Cello. Both boys go to orchestra on a Friday night at a local comprehensive school.
Although we have several computers in the house we don't have a TV. Television is often said to be a conversation killer, in our case not having one is quite a talking point!
Not too much else to tell really, just to make the point that we are a normal average family with 2.4 kids or rather 2.8 at the moment.
